The stage is set and the time to act is now! Join us and a star-studded cast of speakers at this year's LMA New England Annual Conference, November 16-17, 2006 at the new Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel!
It kicks off Friday, November 17th with a full day of events, including an energizing keynote speaker, Cathy Salit, President and CEO of Performance of a Lifetime, who will guide us through the fundamentals of improvisation-based communication. Come and learn skills that will enhance your ability to influence others! The top-notch roster of concurrent educational programs will delve into the pertinent issues facing law firms today and will provide marketers and business development professionals at every level with tools they can implement immediately.
This year's conference premieres with the second annual pre-conference event sponsored by Lexis-Nexis Martindale-Hubbell on Thursday, November 16th, with a special sneak preview into what drives the relationships between inside and outside counsel. The cast of panelists will focus on the definition of partnering, the tools and tactics for setting relationship ground rules, and the factors used to measure law firm performance. The evening, which will benefit legal marketers and
attorneys alike, will conclude with a networking cocktail reception.
Be sure not to miss "Getting Into Character— The Five Most Important Functions for Tomorrow’s Most Effective Legal Marketers" presented by Anne Malloy Tucker, CMO of Goodwin Procter LLP, Suzanne Lowe of Expertise Marketing and myself. This program will show attendees how to make the case for changing the scope of the legal marketing role, including the five functions marketers must perform to be competitively effective.
Friday's program also offer attendees a sneak preview of the chapter's very own Oscars! Attend the lunch on Friday to see which firms are competing at the LMA New England Your Honor Awards in January. Nominations received on blackboards will be displayed in the exhibition hall immediately following lunch. Raise a glass to toast all of our accomplishments at the closing reception.
